Benton Grove Bed and Banquets Wedding in Morgantown West VA
July 6, 2015Oh hai again! You must be getting sick of me talking about the weather this summer and how lucky our couples have been considering the forecast…so sorry, but this one is another tale for the storybooks. My weather kitty app kept telling me we were going to have 100% chance of thunderstorms throughout this whole wedding day and a good chunk of our drive up to Morgantown West Virginia was pouring rain with no hope of clear skies in sight. And yet, miraculously, the skies cleared up for the ceremony and for part of the portrait session. I loved that Rachel and Garret were down to use the umbrella during our portraits because the contrast of the dark sky and the colorful umbrella looks awesome. In addition to the weather, the reception held some fun surprises–the bride and her dad started their father-daughter dance out with “I loved her first” and then busted into an epic mash up of fantabulous hits!
